CHIRMI PALACE HOTEL PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP-2010
A League cum knockout four ball match play tournament will be played starting 28th FEB 2009. Members wishing to participate are requested to form their team of two and confirm their entry latest by the 27th June 2010. League matches shall be played over 18 holes only. Maximum handicap allowed 24, but the player will have to play at the handicap of 18. Card has to be submitted on completion of the match.
STAGE ONE - LEAGUE
The participants will be divided into groups of 5 or 6. Each team will play against all other teams in their Group. One week will be allotted for each match to be played. If the participant are unable to reach an agreement on the time and date of their match during the allotted week, their match will be scheduled by the Committee on the Sunday 8 AM in the week allotted to them. This will be strictly adhered to and no changes accepted. Requests for postponement will not be entertained what so ever may be the reason.
POINTS FOR EVERY WIN -- 3 POINTS
DRAW -- 1 POINT
LOSS -- 0 POINTS
In case any team fails to turn up for their match at the scheduled time, the opponent will be awarded 3 points.
KNOCK - OUT
Top 2 team participants from each group will qualify for the knock-out stage. Draws for the same will be put up after the League matches are over.
CATEGORY: 00-24 H'Cap (3/4 handicap allowed to each player)
DRAWS: Draws of the League will be put up on the Club’s notice board on the 28th June 2010.
